This wilderness was a challenge due to the over grown area plus moles and tree roots as well as the builders stripping of most of the topsoil leaving a typical building site. Large willow trees with TPO’s were due to be cut back in the winter months
An old worn out gravel drive was looking tired, we excavated 250mm deep due to the clay sub-base only to find a shallow gas pipe. This was covered with sand and warning tape the back filled with hardcore, the finishing touch was Plaspave Driveline 50 in Buff with Charcoal edging
Another over grown garden cleared of trees, the roots where dug out and removed then the area levelled ready for turf. The front wall was built using reclaimed sand stone with a concrete block backing wall and to finish off a new lawn using Lindum’s Festival turf was laid
An idyllic river bank setting over looking the River Wharfe in Tadcaster was the setting of a new raised water feature. The sand stone was reclaimed from the dismantling of out buildings within the garden and the copings are Indian Stone from Kirby Builders Merchants. This garden is an on going project with Decking, paving and screed garden yet to be constructed.
